Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
These terms govern your use of EditFrame, an editorial publication operated by EditFrame Media OÜ (registry code 16893421, Tartu mnt 25, 10117 Tallinn, Estonia). By reading the site, using the contact form or relying on anything published here, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, the remedy is simple: stop using the site.
Who the site is for
EditFrame publishes hands-on reviews, comparisons and workflow guides about AI photo editors, AI image editors, video editors, photo editors and video makers. The site is written for photographers, video editors and content creators who want an honest second opinion before paying for software. It is intended for users aged 16 and over. Everything here is editorial content for a general audience, not a contract between you and any software vendor.
Acceptable use
You may read, share and link to anything on the site. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the original page. You may not do any of the following.
Do not scrape the site in bulk, reproduce entire articles on your own site, or republish our reviews under another name. Do not use the contact form to send spam, solicitations, malicious files or abusive messages. Do not attempt to probe, overload or disrupt the site, its hosting or its contact infrastructure. Do not misrepresent yourself as a member of the EditFrame team. We reserve the right to block access for anyone who breaks these rules, and to report unlawful conduct to the relevant authorities.
Intellectual property
All articles, reviews, guides, comparison tables, screenshots and original photography on this site are the property of EditFrame Media OÜ and are protected by Estonian and international copyright law. Product names mentioned in reviews are used for identification and commentary only and remain the property of their respective owners. Short quotation with attribution is fine; systematic copying is not. If you believe something here infringes your rights, contact us through the contact page with specifics and we will review it promptly.
Editorial independence and affiliate disclosure
Our reviews are independent. We do not accept sponsored placements, paid rankings or review copies in exchange for favorable coverage, and no vendor sees a review before publication. Some outbound links on the site may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence our rankings, our scores or our verdicts: tools are ranked by how they performed in our testing, on a calibrated monitor, with the same RAW files and export comparisons across every candidate. When a tool we dislike offers an affiliate program, the review still says we dislike it. You can read more about our testing process on the reviews page.
Disclaimers
Everything on EditFrame is published for general informational purposes. Software changes fast: features, pricing and export behavior described in a review reflect the version we tested at the time we tested it, and vendors may change their products without notice. Nothing on this site constitutes professional, legal, financial or purchasing advice, and nothing here creates a professional relationship between you and EditFrame. Your own workflow, hardware and source files may produce different results than ours. Decisions you make based on our content are your own.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EditFrame Media OÜ is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including lost profits, lost work, failed exports or purchases that did not meet your expectations. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the site is limited to 100 euros. This does not affect any rights you hold under mandatory consumer protection law in Estonia or elsewhere in the European Union, which these terms do not limit.
Termination
Since the site requires no account, there is nothing to cancel. We may restrict or block access to the site, in whole or in part, for any user who violates these terms, attacks the infrastructure or abuses the contact form. We may also discontinue or change any part of the site at any time without notice, though we have no plans to do so.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia and, where applicable, the law of the European Union, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
Dispute resolution
We would rather solve a problem with an email than with a lawsuit. If you have a complaint, contact us first through the contact page and we will respond within 14 days. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, the courts of Tallinn, Estonia have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page with its date at the top, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
